ID documents (except concessionary tickets) for the exchange/purchase of an e-ticket at the railway booking office are not required.
When boarding a train, it is mandatory to present an
original of ID document and ticket. Without a document, you will be denied boarding.
It is mandatory to have a
child’s birth certificate
(passport, child’s travel document) when travelling with children. It
is recommended to present the originals. The child’s age at the moment of boarding must correspond to the age entered in the document.
Boarding a train without ID documents is possible when traveling by local trains.
